Founder and Principal Consultant- Sarah Barclay, BA CHRL

Sarah is a transformational senior HR leader, with over 18 years of HR experience spanning a variety of industries. Prior to founding Synapse Human Resources, she worked with both large global corporations and small businesses, including GE, Campbell Canada, Tim Hortons, Canadian Tire, and Mabel’s Labels.
Earning a Bachelor's degree from McMaster University, a Post Graduate Certificate in HR from Seneca College and working toward an Executive Leadership Certificate from DeGroote Business School, Sarah also holds the CHRP/CHRL (Certified Human Resources Professional/ Leader) designations.
Sarah is a policy and legislative subject matter expert, with strong depth and breadth of knowledge related to all aspects of employment law. She is a well respected change management leader, experienced in leading business restructures, and employee coaching. Her Human Resources philosophy is simply put: engaged employees = profitable business.
