Synapse Human Resources has been a wonderful support to my day to day role running a small business.  Human resources is not something I’m trained in, but something that impacts many of my staffing decisions and conversations.  Sarah has helped me with my employee policies guide, manage conflicts between employees, set up proper agreements with new hires, and helped with the termination of one staff member.  And through the last 18 months of the pandemic, Sarah has been able to guide our policies around working from home and sick leave.

There have been stretches of two or three months where I haven’t needed any support, then other times when it feels like I need Sarah on speed dial.  Sarah is flexible and available when I need her, and she’s become instrumental to many of my biggest decisions. 

Sarah and Synapse Human Resources have really helped our clinic graduate to the next level by having a thoughtful, measured approach to HR.  We work with Sarah both on bigger projects such as contracts, office policy manuals and systems for evaluation however she also has been very available to us for HR emergencies that occur from time to time.  She makes HR approachable and always balances the needs of the employee and employer in a fair manner.  We're so glad to have Sarah on our virtual team!
